"Abracadabra: Everyday Magic"
During
their “magical” experience children of all ages will gain an
understanding of the many things in our daily lives which appear to be
mystical and magical but can often be explained through principles of
math and science. Whether you are pulling a rabbit out of a hat,
creating a chemical reaction using only your body heat, or decoding
secret messages, you’ll want to visit before it all disappears!
"Healthier Ever After"
Healthier Ever After is an active fairytale forest. Children must
maneuver through the make-believe forest overcoming obstacles as
they exercise their bodies and learn healthy nutrition facts in a
fun, playful manner. In doing so, they will learn to live “healthier
ever after.”
"Mother Goose Math: Rhyme &
Arithmetic"
Mother Goose Math:
Rhyme & Arithmetic is a hands-on, interactive exhibit
that brings to life scenes and images from popular nursery rhymes. This
exhibit, and the nursery rhyme theme, provides an excellent tool through
which complex topics can be simplified and taught to children of all
ages.
"Blast Off! Families Exploring Space Together"
Blast Off!, developed in collaboration with experts
from NASA's Glenn Research Center, is designed to allow young children to
pretend, play, and explore space in a fun and creative atmosphere. By
encouraging family participation and incorporating hands-on family
learning in an interactive environment, the whole family can let
their imaginations soar! At the same time, young children will build
essential developmental skills as well as learn something about
math, science, language literacy and even the arts, and how it all interrelates.
